Lost Words: Heron

The need to narrow a schism between young people and nature seems like a worthwhile endeavor. "Lost words" is in reference to words removed from the junior edition of Webster's dictionary. While the words do not stop existing there is a fear that this indicative of societies move away from the natural world, in favor of a digital one.  as words like Heron and acorn are replaced by voicemail and sim card.

The goal of this project was to take that concept of lost words and elevate it's definition to an artform.
