Pulse: Emily Addison
The purpose of this project was to tackle telling hard personal stories about not only traumatic events but personal loss. In the June 2016 Pulse massacre, 49 people were murdered by a lone gunman leaving their loved ones struggling to cope with the sudden and traumatic experience of losing someone.
Emily Addison recounts the events leading up to her partner's death and what keeps her from being able to move on. this s is a deeply personal story and being able to approach telling it with respect and tact is an important skill not only in representative work but all forms of storytelling.
